Warranty Policy

This warranty does not affect your legal rights under the laws of your country or region. The terms herein apply only to the extent permitted by local law. If local regulations mandate a longer warranty period, those laws shall prevail.
hansmaker provides a free warranty for its products as follows:
- Entire Machine: 2 years
- Laser Machine: 1 year
- Accessories: 1 year
- Consumables (e.g., blades, nozzles, filters) are excluded from warranty coverage.
Extended Warranty (Maker Care): After the original warranty expires, users may purchase Maker Care to extend coverage for 1 additional year (including a maintenance kit). Pricing varies by product: $50–200.
Legal Rights
This warranty does not affect your statutory rights under local consumer laws. If local regulations mandate broader coverage or longer warranty periods, those terms shall prevail.
How to Claim Warranty Service
- Contact Support@hansmaker.com during the warranty period. Include a valid purchase proof (e.g., order number).
- hansmaker will attempt remote troubleshooting. If unresolved, you may need to send the product to an authorized repair center.
- For valid claims, hansmaker will, at its discretion:
- Repair the product with new/refurbished parts.
- Replace the product with a new/refurbished equivalent.
- Refund the purchase price.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does NOT cover:
- Products or parts for which the warranty period has expired.
- Products purchased through unauthorized channels or resold by third parties.
- Normal wear and tear, discoloration, or product degradation resulting from regular use.
- Failures or damage caused by improper use, maintenance, or storage, including but not limited to:
- Using the product outside of its intended purpose
- Mishandling, dropping, or external impact
- Improper plugging or unplugging of external devices
- Exposure to unsuitable temperatures, moisture, liquids, solvents, acids, alkalis, or other corrosive substances
- Infestation by insects or rodents
- Intrusion of foreign objects leading to breakage, dust accumulation, or damage to the housing, components, or wiring
- Failures or damage caused by installation, repair, modification, or disassembly performed by anyone not authorized by hansmaker.
- Damage resulting from unauthorized alterations, removal of the casing, or failure to follow official manuals or usage instructions.
- Products or parts with removed, modified, or unreadable original identification labels or serial numbers.
- Products without a valid proof of purchase, such as a receipt or warranty documentation.
- Failures or damage caused by unauthorized, illegal, or non-standard software.
- Damage resulting from compatibility or reliability issues due to the use of unauthorized third-party components.
- Failures or damage caused by viruses, hacking, or other malicious attacks.
- Failures or damage resulting from force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters) or accidents.
- Damage incurred during transportation when returning the product for service.
- Any failure or damage not directly caused by product quality.
- Products are not guaranteed to operate continuously or without errors.
Please note: hansmaker is not liable for any of the above situations. If you experience any of these issues, please contact the appropriate parties for assistance.
Special Notes
Packaging & Complimentary Items:
- Packaging and complimentary items (e.g., free accessories, gift kits) are replaceable only if damaged during the initial unboxing of the product. Subsequent requests for replacement packaging or accessories may incur refurbishment fees.
- For refurbished products, minor cosmetic imperfections (e.g., scratches, dents) that do not affect functionality are not covered under warranty.
Discontinued Products:
- hansmaker will announce the discontinuation of products through official channels (e.g., website, email notices). Warranty services for discontinued products will terminate on the final maintenance date specified in the announcement.
- After this date, repair parts may no longer be available, and users will be directed to purchase upgraded or alternative models.
Third-Party Promises:
- Authorized agents or resellers may not extend warranty terms or promises beyond those stated in this policy. hansmaker is not liable for unauthorized commitments (e.g., "lifetime warranty" claims) made by third parties.
International Warranty Limitations:
- Warranty services are valid only in the country/region where the product was originally purchased. For cross-region claims, users may be required to ship the product to the original purchase region at their own expense.
Software & Firmware Updates:
- hansmaker may release software/firmware updates to improve product performance. Failure to install updates recommended by hansmaker does not void the warranty, but unresolved issues caused by outdated software may require a fee-based service.
Transfer of Ownership:
- The warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable unless expressly permitted by hansmaker in writing.
Unauthorized Repairs:
- Any attempt to repair, modify, or disassemble the product by unauthorized personnel will void the warranty. Users must contact hansmaker Support for guidance before attempting repairs.
Product Recalls:
- In the event of a safety-related defect, hansmaker will issue a recall notice and provide free repairs or replacements, regardless of warranty status.
Liability Limitations
Direct Liability:
- hansmaker’s liability under this warranty is strictly limited to the repair, replacement, or refund of the defective product or part.
- Coverage does not include costs related to shipping, customs duties, or labor fees for third-party repair services unless explicitly authorized by hansmaker.
Excluded Damages:

- Personal injury, property damage, or death arising from product misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications.
- Indirect or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data corruption, business interruption, or reputational harm.
- Damage caused by force majeure events (e.g., natural disasters, war, governmental actions) or accidents beyond hansmaker’s control.
- Compatibility issues resulting from the use of non-hansmaker components or software.
Limitation of Remedies:
- Even if hansmaker is aware of potential risks, liability for any claim shall not exceed the original purchase price of the product.
User Responsibility:
- Users are responsible for:
- Backing up data before submitting products for repair.
- Ensuring proper installation, maintenance, and storage as outlined in the user manual.

Modification Rights:
- hansmaker reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate this warranty policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon publication on the official website (https://hansmaker.com/pages/warranty-policy).
Notification of Changes:
- Major policy updates (e.g., reductions in warranty periods, new exclusions) will be communicated via email to registered users or through public announcements.
- Continued use of hansmaker products after policy updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
Regional Variations:
- Warranty terms may vary by region to comply with local consumer laws. For region-specific details, contact Support@hansmaker.com or refer to localized policy documents.
Dispute Resolution:
- Disputes related to this warranty shall first be resolved through negotiation with hansmaker Support. If unresolved, disputes may be escalated to arbitration or litigation in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction specified in the original sales agreement.
Historical Policy Applicability:
- Warranty claims are governed by the policy version active at the time of product purchase. Archived policies are available upon request.
